Every Brilliant Thing

Updated: May 27, 2020

For my Student Story Project I decided to create a piece of collage art.  I don’t count myself an artist but I have found joy and peace through the process of creating.  My collage is made up of images that represent a few of the many things that I believe make life worth living.  I was inspired to create this art after going to the play Every Brilliant Thing at the Utah Shakespeare Festival.  The play is meant to spread awareness about suicide prevention and is meant to help not only those suffering from mental illness but also their loved ones.

Some of the items on our list I have represented in my art are:  sunsets, the moon, grandparents and loved ones, cats, Star Wars, action figures, birds, flowers, music, and Shakespeare.
